Pick for Saturday March 23, 2024:

The Hot Springs Stakes
1 Mile | Open | 3 Year Olds | G STAKES | PURSE: $200,000

Track: Oaklawn Park
Race: 8

Horse: Nash (ML 7-5).

Field (in post position order):

1. Otto the Conqueror (ML 8-1)
2. Carbone (ML 9-2)
3. Mena (ML 30-1)
4. Mr Fillip (ML 5-1)
5. Footprint (ML 6-1)
6. Nash (ML 7-5)
7. Count Dracula (ML 10-1)
8. Frost Free (ML 8-1)
9. Magic Grant (ML 30-1)

Bet Nash (ML 7-5) to win.

Yes, that is right: WIN.

Nash will win the Hot Springs Stakes [at Oaklawn Park] in a romp on this Saturday March 23, 2024, albeit at 2/5 odd.

Yes, that is right: ROMP!!!

So put a lot of money on Nash to win to make it worthwhile and justified going to the racetrack.

Nash, a well-bred Godolphin homebred, won his maiden race three races back in his second start by 10 1/2 lengths, geared down.

He earned a 97 Beyer for that workout-like win.

In that race (and his other race prior) he showed some brilliance and flashiness, looking like a Derby horse.

Then his next two races against stakes-caliber companies in the Gun Runner Stakes and the LeComte Stakes he faltered to finish third and second, respectively.

Then his last race on February 17, 2024, in a three-horse field in a 1 1/16 Miles ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING $100,000, PURSE $65,000, for 3 year-old males [at Fair Grounds], he was beaten again at odd of 1/2 heavy heavy favorite.

IT WAS A VERY DISAPPOINTING PERFORMANCE BY NASH -- TO SAY THE LEAST!!!

Now I don't know if he's Derby material or not -- we'll have to wait and see!

BUT FOR THIS RACE, NASH WILL SHOW HIS TRUE SELF AND WIN THIS RACE IN A ROMP !!! -- [DERBY MATERIAL OR NOT].

So put a lot of money on Nash to win to make it worthwhile and justified going to the racetrack.

This is the easiest 2/5 money you'll ever going to get on the card at Oaklawn Park or at any other racetracks on this Saturday March 23, 2024.

Nash's final odd will most likely be right around 1/2 favorite.

Take this easy money 7/5 (or at whatever the price is -- 2/5 is my guess) and leave the racetrack as a winner.

Hey, a win is a win instead of chasing some longshots in hope of a big payoff as most horseplayers often do to no avail.

There you have it!
