THE CORONATION IS BACK ON!

AFTER THE CORONATION WAS PUT ON-HOLD BY LADY OF CAMELOT -- THE CORONATION PROCESSION IS ONCE AGAIN BACK ON!

Waterhouse - Bott camp, on Tuesday March 26, 2024, confirmed Slipper winner and third place finisher in last week's $5 million race will again clash in the Group I Sires Stakes on April 6, 2024, in what looms a battle for champion 2yo honor.

For Storm Boy, it's more than the year-end 2yo honor -- it's the CORONATION of his rightful place in history of among the best horse of his generation to ever born in the continent of Australia.

But standing in the way of his CORONATION PROCESSION and his rightful place in history is Lady Of Camelot who, in her own rightful place in history, is among the best fillies Australia has ever produced.

It's going to be an exciting race in a little more than a week from today, and it looks to be Storm Boy's glory day of CORONATION this time -- that's what I see.

Take nothing away from Lady Of Camelot but Storm Boy is a class by himself and he will show what he's made of this time.

He was off a little slow in the Slipper, causing him several lengths to start and he had to use a lot of energy to be in contention and that caused his defeat.

He was weaving through traffic and he had to wait for room to develop a couple of times midway through the run (on the rail) and once he found the room he accelerated quickly to take the lead about 200 meters (or 150 yards) from the finish line.

At that point, I -- and as well as his trainer Gai Waterhouse -- thought Storm Boy was going to win, but soon thereafter he began to show sign of weakening while Coleman (2nd place finisher) and Lady Of Camelot were coming in a furious run as a pair to get by Storm Boy inside the 16th pole.

All in all, Storm Boy put up a courageous fight but the start and traffic problems took a toll on him.

This time he'll redeem himself and he will show us what he's made of.

Stay tuned!
