Picks for Monday May 27, 2024 (Memorial Holiday)

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYONE!

LET'S SPEND THIS MEMORIAL DAY BETTING RACES AND WHAT BETTER THING TO DO

THAN BETTING HORSES ON MULTIPLE RACES -- YES, THAT IS RIGHT: MULTIPLE RACES!

SO THE BEST WAY TO DO THAT IS TO USE A BETTING METHOD CALLED "PARLAY BETTING".

In a parlay betting, we choose three races of our own choosing, and those three races are called legs: 1st leg, 2nd leg, and 3rd leg.

In the parlay betting, we need to look for the last leg first and then we look for the other two legs later.

But the other two legs (1st and 2nd leg) must come or go off before the last leg, the 3rd leg.

So knowing that, we must find the third leg and the other two legs accordingly.

AS STATED ABOVE THE FIRST THING WE NEED TO DO IS TO LOOK FOR THE THIRD LEG HORSE FIRST AND THEN LOOK FOR THE OTHER PRECEDING TWO LEGS HORSES NEXT.

LET'S DO THAT NOW!

ON MONDAY MEMORIAL DAY'S CARDS FROM COAST TO COAST WE HAVE A "CINCH" HORSE IN JUDGE MILLER (at Santa Anita Park in the Hollywood Gold Cup) -- AND WE'LL USE HIM AS OUR 3RD LEG HORSE FOR THE MEMORIAL DAY PARLAY.

The idea is to build up as much money for the last leg as you can since the last leg is a cinch horse and the odd on the last leg is likely to be a very short price horse.

In my opinion, the last leg horse is cinch horse -- meaning, he is likely to win this year's Hollywood Gold Cup race.

Yes, I do have a lot of confidence in Judge Miller winning the Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes.

So the goal is to accumulate as much money from prior legs as we can so that we can put all of that money on Judge Miller to win.

Now what's left is to find the other two legs horses and here they are:

This is the first leg.

Wonder Again Stakes
1 1/8 Miles | Fillies | 3 Year Olds | G2 STAKES | PURSE: $200,000

Track: Belmont at the BigA

Surface: Turf

Race: 2

Horse: Golden Degree (ML 5-2)

Field (in post position order):

1. Segesta (ML 3-1)
2. Grayosh (ML 6-1)
3. Vive Veuve (ML 4-1)
4. Sy B (ML 5-1)
5. Curlin's Girl (ML 9-2)
6. Sweet Rebecca (ML 2-1)
7. Six Pack Senorita (ML 9-2)
8. Golden Degree (ML 5-2)

Bet Golden Degree (ML 5-2) to win.

Golden Degree's final odd will most likely be right around 4-5 as a very heavy favorite if it's off the turf.

Hopefully, it's off the turf and Golden Degree should be a cinch or locked horse.

If it's not off the turf, she'll be scratched from this race as she is entered for main track only.

If that is the case, here is an alternative first leg horse that you can use instead.

This is the first leg.

1 1/16 Miles | Open | 3 Year Olds And Up | ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING : $50,000 | PURSE: $55,000

Track: Santa Anita Park

Surface: Dirt

Race: 4

Horse: Ultimate Gamble (ML 2-1)

Field (in post position order):

1. Smart Mo (ML 5-2)
2. Gavea (ML 5-1)
3. Don't Swear Dave (ML 8-1)
4. Midnight Mammoth (ML 6-1)
5. Low Expectations (ML 12-1)
6. Ghazaaly (ML 6-1)
7. Ultimate Gamble (ML 2-1)
8. I Don't Get It (ML 20-1)

Bet Ultimate Gamble (ML 2-1) to win.

Ultimate Gamble's final odd will most likely be right around 6-5 as a heavy favorite.

This is the 2nd leg.

6 Furlongs | Open | 3, 4 and 5 Year Olds | MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT | PURSE: $54,000

Track: Santa Anita Park

Surface: Dirt

Race: 8

Horse: Eagles Flight (ML 2-1)

Field (in post position order):

1. Atitlan (ML 15-1)
2. Eagles Flight (ML 2-1)
3. Visceral (ML 4-1)
4. Le Mans (ML 15-1)
5. Fight With Honor (ML 30-1)
6. Tour Player (ML 8-1)
7. Corso's Pick (ML 30-1)
8. Santarena (ML 5-2)
9. Thunder Ball (ML 20-1)
10. Sully (ML 6-1)

Bet Eagles Flight (ML 2-1) to win and place using double down betting strategy.

Eagles Flight's final odd will most likely be right around 8-5 as a favorite in the betting.

Note that if there is any amount resulted from the first leg you have to bet all of that amount on this leg using double down betting strategy.

This is called parlaying the bet -- you have to use all of the money from the previous leg on this leg.

This is the 3rd and last leg.

The idea is to build up as much money from the prior two legs as you can so that you can put all of the accumulated money on this last leg since in this last leg there is a cinch horse and the odd on this last leg is likely to be a very short price horse.

In my opinion, the last leg horse (Judge Miller) is a cinch horse -- meaning, he is a locked and is likely to win the race.

Yes, I do have a lot of confidence in Judge Miller winning this year's Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes.

So use all of the accumulated money thus far on this leg and bet on Judge Miller to win.

Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes
1 1/4 Miles | Open | 3 Year Olds And Up | G2 STAKES | PURSE: $200,000

Track: Santa Anita Park

Surface: Dirt

Race: 10

Horse: Judge Miller (ML 5-2)

Field (in post position order):

1. Reincarnate (ML 4-1)
2. Ashcroft (ML 15-1)
3. Judge Miller (ML 5-2)
4. Oviatt Class (ML 30-1)
5. Mr Fisk (ML 2-1)
6. Subsanador (ARG) (ML 5-2)
7. Mixto (ML 12-1)
8. Arrowthegreat (ML 30-1)

Judge Miller will win the Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes in a romp. Yes, that is right: ROMP!!! [Mark my word].

So bet Judge Miller (ML 5-2) to win using all of the accumulated money from the previous legs.

This is called parlaying the bet -- you have to use all of the money from the previous legs on this leg.

Judge Miller's final odd will most likely be right around 2-1 as a second choice behind the likely 6/5 favorite Mr Fisk.

Take this easy money 5/2 (or at whatever the price is -- 2/1 is my guess) and leave the racetrack as a winner.

There you have it: Easy money using a very smart betting strategy called "Parlay Betting".

This is the last leg, the bread-and-butter leg -- the leg that pays the bills.

PAYS THE BILLS -- OH BOY! -- ARE EVER?

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYONE!
