Before the knockout round game (which was played last night Sunday June 4, 2023), the U.S. Under-20s team had higher goals and aspirations than what happend last night when they faced a much better team: Uruguay.

The U.S. national team struggled mightily and was unable to score any goal as the Uruguay national team had their way for much of the game.

Perhaps, this is not meant to be their year, and now they're heading home and maybe looking forward to the 2025 game as a new goal to shoot for.
